Since the company was founded in 1965, we have been dedicated to protecting our clients’ interests and believe we can do that best by listening to their needs, seeing their operation in person whenever possible and designing their coverage to consider both their operation and their lifestyle.

Our History
Rempel Insurance is led by owners Janice and Shawn Graydon. Together, they bring a clear vision for the future—rooted in teamwork, driven by purpose, and focused on serving the complex insurance needs of business owners across Manitoba and beyond. Under their leadership, the company continues to evolve, building on its strong foundation while empowering a team of professionals who collaborate closely to deliver customized, strategic insurance solutions.
The story of Rempel Insurance began in 1965, when it was founded by Mr. Henry Remple. In 1990, the business was purchased by Dale and Lynn Rempel, who renamed it and grew its reputation for excellence and client-focused service. Dale was a respected leader in the insurance industry, serving on both provincial and national boards and mentoring many within the profession before his passing in 2013. Lynn continued to guide the company until the next generation of leadership was ready. Shawn, who had worked alongside Dale and Lynn for almost 20 years purchased the business with his partner Janice in 2018. Shawn now serves the organization as Chief Growth officer and Janice as Chief Executive officer.
Today, Rempel Insurance is not only a company with a proud history but a team united by shared values, integrity, and a deep commitment to helping business owners navigate risk with confidence. With a focus on collaboration and expertise, the team works as one to deliver value where it matters most.
