Does this sound familiar?
With all the information out there, it can be hard to know where to start when it comes to insurance coverage. We are here to answer those questions and get you the coverage you need.
How do I know what insurance I need?
MPI’s insurance policies and processes can be complex, leading to confusion for policyholders. As brokers, we can simplify the process by explaining coverage options and helping clients select the most suitable policies based on their unique needs.
I don’t have enough coverage
MPI primarily offers standard insurance coverage. If you require more tailored or specialized insurance, brokers can source policies from multiple providers, allowing for greater customization and access to additional coverage options that MPI might not offer.
I don’t understand my policy
We go through all policies in depth with our clients to ensure they fully understand what they are paying for and how it will impact their business. The strong relationships we build with our clients means we are always available and happy to answer any questions they have on their policies and coverage.
Common questions
-
Why do I need auto insurance?
Auto insurance provides essential financial protection and legal compliance while driving, helping cover costs of repairing or replacing your vehicle in case of accidents, as well as covering medical expenses for injuries sustained. It also safeguards you from potential liability claims if you’re at fault in an accident, protecting your assets and ensuring compliance with legal requirements for responsible driving.
-
What is NOT covered under my insurance?
Your insurance covers many situations, but not all. It’s important to know what is not covered under your policy, and in what situations coverage may be denied. Learn what is not covered here.
-
How do I get a driver’s license?
A Class 5 licence allows you to drive passenger vehicles and light trucks (cars, SUVs and pickups). It’s the most common type of licence in Manitoba. You must be a minimum of 16 years of age. At age 15 1/2, an applicant may apply for a Class 5L licence if enrolled in MPI’s Driver Z Program, in a course that is currently in progress. Learn more about the process and fees here.
